Trouble on the network

hello my name is Thomas Green iam a tech support worker for a kaleidoscope which is not a real company it is for a collage project.
in this company i have a person who is having problem witha printer on a network.
I think that there may be a few reasons for this which are listed below:

no ink
no paper
network trouble or it is busy
not sent to the right printer
paper jam
printer is not turned on

Amazing video

which result was the most helpful!

From the search terms I used previously I have evauated which term was the most useful.
I have entered each search term and looked at what infromation I found within the first 20 results.

When I entered in the search term 'Hp laserJet 3600n' I came up with this website http://www.fixya.com/ it is free to use and has people that have real life experience on hand to help also it can be used to help fix more then just printer so it was a handy site to find.

Next I use the search term 'Trouble shoot HP' and this is not as useful as the term was before as it can come up with various HP related problems, so I wouldn't advise using this term unless you add the words 'HP Printer'.

The next search term is 'HP divers' and again I will add '3600n' otherwise a multitude of drivers may show up. I found a website called http://h20000.www2.hp.com/ and it is the HP website you take a few small step then it brings you to the downlad you need.

For the search term network problems I would use the fist website http://www.fixya.com/ as you will find experts on this as well and it a very good site to use.

Investigation

I have investigated and discovered what some of the problems that could have caused the printer malfunction amd there are as shown:

No cabels were loose and the printer waas set to the default printer .

I think my next step is to see what else might be effecting and find help by searching on the internet.

Some of the terms I might use too search for information via the internet might be as follows:

  • HP LaserJet 3600n
  • Trouble shoot HP
  • New Drivers for HP
  • Net work Proplems
